Sunday Dinner Dates

 Every Sunday I make dinner for Loren and I.  Sunday may be my favorite day, simply because I have the time to do this.  I try to make delicious food and push myself to become a better cook.  Today we ate a salad with blood oranges, red onions, and sunchokes and farfalle pasta with pan-fried tempeh, goat cheese, and caramelized onions.  It was yummy.  There is something so satisfying about being able to make food for myself and the ones I love.  I make dinner most nights, but Sunday dinner is special.  It is not rushed, in fact I usually spend an hour or more cooking it and even longer shopping for ingredients to make it and researching recipes to try.  All day Sunday I am thinking about dinner and what I will create.  It is always the best meal of the week.

yea i think the trick is to write small because that way i don't feel pressure to write a masterpiece.
